Gratitude Day 606

James 1:17 – Every gift God freely gives us is good and perfect, streaming down from the Father of lights who shines from the heavens with no hidden shadow or darkness and is never subject to change.

Just in case someone has not told you lately … YOU are an AMAZING and BELOVED Child of God.

That’s right.

YOU.

YOU and all the things that make you special, unique and different from everyone else.

YOU and the things that may make others smile or chuckle. YOU and those things that drive someone else a little crazy.

YOU and the special gifts and talents that you along have been granted by God.

Yes, that’s right. Special gifts. Given to YOU by God. Only things that YOU are good at.

YOU have a unique and special combination of gifts that no one else has. Only YOU have this.

Why is this important? Because God created YOU to be the way YOU are.

Yes, sometimes we get things wrong. But it’s OK. Because God is already knew where you might stumble and feel challenged.

Now, if you had 30 minutes to do whatever you wanted to do, what would YOU do? What would YOU choose?

Please do this today. Most likely, it’s something related to your giftedness and the things that only YOU can do. Find a little nugget of time where YOU can love doing something just for YOU.

God created YOU this way. God wants YOU to relish and enjoy the things that YOU love to do. Reward yourself … and do whatever it is today.

For God’s special giftedness to each of YOU, I am grateful.

Blessings –

Dianne

Almighty God – Thank You for loving me in such a special way. Thank You for creating me to be different from everyone else. Thank You for giving me unique gifts and a combination of gifts that is special just for me. Encourage me to live into something I love to do today. If only for a while. Thank You for creating me. Amen.
