Gratitude Day 597

Romans 5:6 – Christ died for us at a time when we were helpless and sinful.

For many people, we say the words, “I love you” quite easily. Yes, there are those who aren’t comfortable in sharing their feelings. But there are many who can and do say these three little words openly.

The challenge with this is really being sincere as we say them. These words have meaning. Do you accept and practice this?

While we may say these words, there is usually someone who we have a hard time loving. Maybe they wronged us. Or hurt us. Or didn’t follow through with something. Maybe they have different opinions than we do. And loving them is really hard.

Just for one day … love them. Just as they are. No ifs, ands or buts. Just love them.

I have a hard person to love. Just like you do. And this is who I’m praying for today. For them. For myself. For our relationship.

Christ and God love us NO. MATTER. WHAT. I’m not that strong. I can’t do it. May maybe just for today, I’ll try to live a little bit of this.

I hope you will as well.

For the power of forgiveness, I am grateful.

Blessings –

Dianne

Holy God – Thank you for loving me no matter what. May I choose to do this for those people I find difficult to love. Amen.
