It is summer.

Heat

Flowers

Corn stalks

Watermelon

Hydrangeas

The aroma of freshly-cut hay

Long shadows

Blue skies

Baseball

Bike rides

Cool water

Cattails

It is summer.

For summer, I am grateful.

Almighty God – for the dog days of summer, we give you thanks. May we celebrate these lovely summer days. Amen.
