Passport to Prayer – Lent 2016

Saturday – Mar. 19, 2016

1 Timothy 2:1-2: I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone – for kings and all in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.

In this letter, Paul encourages his protégé Timothy to pray for EVERYONE. Who are those you have a hard time praying for? Lift them up today. Make arrangements to help the sixth person on your “Helping Others” list.

Lord, I thank you for the many people who have been an important part of my life this day. I lift up the teachers, Christian leaders and pastors who have guided my journey. Strengthen them and encourage them. I now specifically pray for those who I have a hard time praying for. Amen.

Blessings –

Dianne
