Passport to Prayer – Lent 2016

Matthew 6:12: And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.   

The lint trap in a dryer catches strays off of our clothing as it dries. It removes the yucky stuff from our clothing. Lent is a time for us to remove the yucky stuff that keeps us from God. While doing laundry, folding laundry, cleaning out the lint trap, thank you for removing the yucky things from your past.

O Lord, only you can remove those things that keep us from fully loving you and our neighbors. Thanks for taking the junk away from us. Encourage us to walk closely with you this day.   Amen.
