Luke 2:7: And she gave birth to her firstborn Son, and wrapped Him in strips of cloth, and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.

Most Holy Father –

We don’t understand. We don’t understand why the Savior of the world entered this earth as a baby born in a stable.

We don’t understand why a young teenager and her engaged fiancé who wasn’t sure what to do.

We don’t understand why shepherds were his first visitors.

There are so many parts of this story that we try to understand an probably fall miserable short.

What we can understand? Your deep, deep love for all of us who came in the form of a baby to be the Savior of the world.

The Light of the word has appeared. Let us rejoice and be glad in it. Amen.
