Spread Kindness Like Confetti. This is the mission of our June Our Monthly Resolution Organization – Paul’s Party.

Inspired by her son Paul, Paul’s mom, Kathie, wanted to honor his awesomeness. Born with spina bifida, Paul died when he was 15. On his next birthday, Paul’s Party started as a kindness campaign. A small party was planned but it turned into raising over $15,000 to support a few charities important to Paul. Paul’s Party was then started to ensure the raised funds would be used as intended.

Paul’s Party’s mission is to fund FUN for kids with physical disabilities. It is very difficult for kids confined to wheelchairs to participate in recreational activities like their peers. Necessary equipment is expensive. Paul’s Party provides sled hockey equipment, track racing chairs and equipment, hand bikes, summer camp scholarships and other things that allow kids with physical limitations the opportunity to have fun doing things recreationally.

Another benefit of Paul’s Party is the supportive community that has grown between kids and families who have physical limitations. Kids and their parents have a network of people who understand what they are going through.
