rain

Thurs., May 3, 2018

1 Kings 18:41 – Then Elijah said to Ahab, “Go and enjoy a good meal! For I hear a mighty rainstorm coming!”

It’s spring. It’s time for rain.

On Tues. night, we had a rainstorm: thunder and all. Wednesday brought forth more rain. While it hasn’t rained all day, these have been wonderful showers. Neighbor Sharon has we had about 2” last night. Hubby Rick spent time today trying to find our rain gauge. Apparently, he put it in a place he wouldn’t forget where it was … and just can’t remember where that is!

Rain means green grass, blooming flowers, seeds sprouting from the ground.

For this, I am grateful.

The gift of life in spring should never cease to amaze us, Lord God. And these lovely rains tease more new life into our world. Thank you for the gift of rain. Amen.

Blessings –

Dianne
