Isaiah 40:24 – They are like flowers freshly sprung up and starting to grow. But when God blows on them, they wilt and are carried off like straw in a storm.

The pictures do not do our backyard justice.

It’s covered with this blanket of tiny little purple flowers. Delicate little creatures, only a couple inches tall.

They appeared this week. And my heart soared with their appearance.

20180426_064315I know they are here for just a little while. And then, they wilt and disappear. But for today, they are here. A beautiful cover of purple hue. Simple and sweet. Quietly making their entrance into the world.

For this, I am grateful.

Lord God – thank you for the freshly sprung flowers. The purple carpet of color that points my full heart back to you. Thank you for this little bit of heaven in my backyard. Amen.

Blessings –

Dianne
